6. Sharing data
Drivers → recruiters
- If you apply for a job, the relevant recruiter receives application and CV details needed to consider you.
- If you appear in driver search, eligible recruiters may see profile information you have made available.
- You may use platform tools (where available) to limit visibility in driver search.
Recruiters are independent organisations. Once data is shared with them for recruitment, they are responsible for their own use of that data.
Service providers
We use trusted providers to run the Platform (for example hosting, authentication, database, storage, and payment providers when enabled). They process data only on our instructions where they act as processors.
Legal requirements
We may disclose data if required by law, regulation, or to protect the rights, safety, or integrity of YardHub and its users.
7. How long we keep data
- Account data — while the account is active
- Applications & messages — for a reasonable period for recruitment, disputes and safety (typically up to 24 months of inactivity, unless longer retention is required)
- Security / abuse logs — for a limited period for fraud prevention and investigations
- Uploaded CV files — while needed for applications, or until deleted / account closure where technically possible
When you request account deletion, we will delete or anonymise personal data within 7 days of verification, except where limited records must be kept for legal, security, or accounting reasons.
8. How we store and protect data
- Data is stored using reputable cloud providers with appropriate security controls
- Access is restricted to authorised systems and personnel
- We use industry-standard measures such as encryption in transit, access controls and monitoring
- No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; we work continuously to reduce risk
9. Your rights
Under UK data protection law, you may have the right to:
- Access a copy of your personal data
- Correct inaccurate data
- Erase your data in certain cases
- Restrict or object to certain processing
- Data portability (receive data you provided in a usable format)
